What the dispatcher sees
A 911 call from a wiTech Voice line arrives at the answering point that covers the registered address for that line, carrying the address and a callback number. The dispatcher is not asking a frightened person to describe where they are.
- The service address is set per line, not per account, so a second floor and a warehouse are not the same place
- A callback number is presented so the dispatcher can ring back if the call drops
- The address is validated against the address database when you save it, not when it is needed
